Starting with a clean slate.

Just a four short weeks ago, our home lost a great soul. Bentley, our big ole hairy buddy passed. To properly memorialize him, I've posted something on the Dogs page.

But here, we're onto happier things. Namely, getting a new puppy!!! It seems that Zoey didn't take Bentley's departure any better than we did. She's been moping around, not eating like the horse she usually does and all around bummed out. And who can blame her? She came into our house as a puppy and all she knew was our house with Bentley as an added benefit.

So after a great amount of discussion, we decided to get her a new pal. However, this time would be different. The last two dogs were rescues. We decided to buy a puppy this time. With this, we do get some piece of mind as to what were getting health and temperament wise. It's won't be the crap shoot that a rescue can be.

So, below, I present our new addition. Her registered name is Ken-Bear's Windfield Clearly Caitlyn. She was born on May 27, 2011 and we should be picking her up in late July. Watch for updates as I'm sure I'll be posting many more.
